Library Rules




SBHS e- Library Rules and Regulations

1.Service Hour : Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

2.The " first come ; first serve' policy is followed

3.User is required to log in and out before and after use of the computer.

4. All diskettes, Cd's flash drive must be given to the   librarian  to be scanned before used.

5.User must check the assigned workstations before accessing it.

6.User must not change or delete any of the setting program and icons of the computer without knowledge or supervision of the librarian.

7.User must work on their assigned computer workstation for the duration of their research, and should refrain from standing and changing workstation.

8.Accessing any indecent or immoral information or files in graphical , text sound video or other format is prohibited.

9.Using any unauthorized compact disc (CD) diskette and playing games and / or chatting online are prohibited.

10.User must log-off any open program properly before leaving the computer.

11.The e - library is not responsible for any lost of personal belongings.


                                          


 Internet Acceptable Use Policy


1. SBHS e-library  school recognizes the academic need for some, if not all of its studentd,teachers, and staff to have access to the Internet while on the job, using  school computers. As such, SBHS  has made the aademic decision to make the Internet avail-able to students, teachers,and staff  for SBHS e-library purposes.
2. SBHS e library intends for the Internet to be accessed for academic  purposes and expects that students, teachers,and staff  will spend no more than 5 minutes per day accessing the Internet for non academic purposes.


3. SBHS e -library  specifically prohibits its students, teachers,and staff  from accessing the following types of sites using schoolcomputers:
       a. Gambling sites
       b. Auction sites
       c. Hate sites
       d. Pornographic sites
       e. Any site engaging in or encouraging illegal activity.
       f. Games

4. The school reserves the right to use monitoring software to make sure the company’s IAUP is being adhered to by its students, teachers,and staff. The school may record and/or monitor one or more students, teachers,and staff  computer and Internet activity for any reason and without any specific notice.

5. By reading and using the e- library.
     a. You agree that you have had the opportunity to review this agreement and ask any questions regarding this document.
     b. You agree to adhere to the school IAUP.
     c. You agree that you will be subject to disciplinary measures, including possible termination, if you violate the IAUP.
